This talk will cover recent research in distributed key generation (DKG) protocols, focusing on its definitions of security and on aggregable DKG, in which the parties can produce an aggregated and publicly verifiable transcript. It will also explore the applications of DKG and, if time permits, how DKG can be achieved in asynchronous environments.
Sarah is a Professor in Cryptography and Security at University College London (UCL) and a Staff Research Scientist at Google. At UCL, she affiliated with the Information Security Group in the Computer Science department, and at Google she is a member of the Certificate Transparency team. She is also an Associate Director of the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts (IC3).
